Zoe’s wellness journey began at age 12 with the opening of a heated power yoga studio in her neighborhood called “Sigh Yoga”. Zoe struggled with anxiety as a child and her mom, who regularly attended classes at Sigh, thought yoga might be helpful. After taking just one yoga class Zoe was astonished at how amazing she felt. She quickly fell in love with the practice and found that yoga helped her manage her anxiety. At age 15, Zoe knew she wanted yoga to be a pillar of her life going forward - thus, she enrolled in a 230 hour Yoga Teacher Training at The Yoga Center of Minneapolis. She completed the program at age 16 and began teaching shortly after. Through the continual development of her practice and a deeper understanding of yoga theory, Zoe drifted away from hot power yoga and was drawn towards a traditional, meditative style.

After completing her 500-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training at The Yoga Center of Minneapolis in 2013, Zoe was certain she wanted a career helping and healing others through a modality that incorporated mind, body, and spirit. Not long after, she was introduced to Chinese Medicine in a Yin Yoga teacher training. She became infatuated with the theory and methodology. Naturally, she enrolled in the Masters of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine program at Northwestern Health Sciences University. Zoe loves that Chinese Medicine views the patient as a whole and aims to bring balance to their entire being in an organic way. Through simply redirecting energy flow, the body begins to heal and balance itself.

Today, Zoe is a licensed acupuncturist with over 800 hours of clinical experience. She has been teaching yoga for over 5 years and is passionate about holistic forms of healing that incorporate mind, body, and spirit. Zoe has completed numerous advanced yoga trainings including Yin Yoga, meditation, pranayama, tantric energetics and more.

“I have had two appointments with Zoe. She is professional and very thorough on her intake and adjusting to specific clients needs. I highly recommend her!”

“I’ve been seeing Zoe at Ananda Natural Medicine weekly for two months for anxiety and panic disorder with amazing results (a combination of yoga and acupuncture)! Recently, I switched my treatment plan to weekly acupuncture facials. This facial is the most calming experience I’ve ever had!! Though my initial thought was that it would be nice to look younger without invasive or unnatural treatments...the calm that I experienced was completely unexpected. I’m looking good and feeling great!! Thanks Zoe!!”

Some are meant to be professional athletes, others musicians or artists of some kind -- Zoe was destined to do holistic medicine and yoga. She has an unrelenting passion for it. She is very attentive to her patients'/students' needs and dedicated to making sure they're well taken care of. I came in for the common cold and felt substantially better following my treatment with her. Also, the space is spotless! I couldn't recommend her enough.
